BMA — Berces-Ocampo, Mendoza and Associates — is a general professional partnership of Certified Public Accountants offering audit, accounting, tax consultancy, and business advisory services.

Maria earned her Bachelor in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and her CPA license in 1986. She began as an internal auditor at Rubberworld Philippines (Adidas), moved to San Buenaventura & Co., CPAs as an associate auditor, and later joined Carlos J. Valdes & Co., CPAs before establishing BMA in 1993.
She served as President of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants Southern Metro Manila Chapter from 2018 to 2019, held various positions in the Metro Manila Regional Council, chaired the Cooperative Development Committee, and participated in national PICPA committees. She is also a Past President of the Philippine Association of Management Accountants and a member of TMAP, ACPACI, and ACPAPP.
Maria is a Peer Evaluator of the Philippine Council for NGO Certification and has been active in Rotary International District 3780, serving as Past President of the Rotary Club of Batasan Hills in 2014–2015 and 2023–2024. From 2007 to 2017, she also served as Internal Audit Head of the CLC Group of Companies.
Her client experience spans manufacturing and special economic zones, hospitality, clubs, construction, real estate, nonprofit organizations, education, financing, cooperatives, professional services, stock brokerage, merchandising, and service companies. She has been a Commissioned Independent CPA of the Court of Tax Appeals since 2012.

Josefina holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of PICPA and ACPAPP.
She serves on the Board of Directors of Ascent Knowledge Resources, Inc., a laboratory company specializing in food and allied industries. Previously, she was Treasury Head at Emilio Aguinaldo College Medical Center in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Josefina also worked as Senior Auditor at All Asian Countertrade, Inc., a sugar trading firm with multiple food-product subsidiaries, after beginning her career as an Internal Auditor at Medical Center Manila. Her experience spans manufacturing, stock brokerage, merchandising, sports clubs, trading, cooperatives, and service companies.
